Product description

The AC100 is a new-generation in-line solution for component mounting and precision dispensing, dedicated to module and package assembly in advanced electronics. Specialised in MEMS, optical components, brackets, stiffener plates and prism mounting, it combines high repeatability, flexibility and full process traceability.

It integrates automatic substrate loading and unloading, precision adhesive dispensing, in-line inspection of the adhesive shape, component pick-and-place, placement quality inspection and optional pre-curing. Compatible with international semiconductor communication protocols and the MES systems of smart factories, the AC100 follows the latest trends in digitalised, lights-out production.

The problem

Large optical panels and arrays require sub-millimetre placement accuracy and particle-free handling; otherwise: misalignment, optical losses and rework.

The cause

Manual handling or poorly controlled automated cells let particles in, create small position errors and make adhesive dispensing or mounting irregular over large dimensions.
